Graining Shaped
Often the requirement is to finish a product after it has been worked, formed and welded. However careful your process, damage will occur to surfaces. GE Machinery has solutions to repair and match original finishes whether machine or manually produced, or generate a finish on a completed item.
The most common finish for flat as well as shaped metals is a decorative straight-line or a grain finish. These can be accomplished in finishing processes that use abrasive belts, Scotch-Brite belts and/or brushes.
Graining shaped surfaces
Taking the standard techniques used on flat material, GE Machinery adds a third dimension to the metal finish, at the same time blending in with existing grain direction, or generating a whole new, overall finish as you require. Ground or brushed, straight, swept, swirled, orbital or random, area specific or whole component finishing as you and your customers demand.
